To extend our community outreach, we launched the School Eye Health Program, focusing on children in underprivileged areas. By working with school administrations, we:
When children with vision problems are identified, our mobile eye care teams visit the schools, conduct detailed testing, and deliver glasses right to their doorsteps. Students needing advanced treatment are guided to our hospital for further care.
We have already partnered with organizations such as The Citizens Foundation, ensuring children from underserved communities receive the care they deserve.
Looking ahead, we aim to expand this program beyond eye care to include broader school health services—covering nutrition, growth monitoring, hearing, dental hygiene, and more.
Once children having decreased vision are identified, our adequately staffed and equipped mobile teams will then reach out to these schools. They will test, prescribe and dispense/ deliver glasses on their door steps. Those needing secondary or tertiary care are facilitated for the same.
To reach as many schoolchildren as possible, we’ve built a custom digital platform. Our app makes it easy to record screenings, track student progress, and manage care efficiently.
Behind the scenes, a secure, well-structured database powers the program. This ensures accurate records, smooth coordination, and continuity of care for every child we serve.
